This is the second edition of Deadly Shades of Grey and replaces the first edition with its new format and larger print - making it much easier to read in bed, with the sheets over your head and with a handy torch! It can also be read, by the pool, in the train, in broad daylight - wherever you choose, it is just as spooky - will send the same shivers up and down your spine, gripping you from beginning to end! Sarah Grey and her daughter Clarrie are haunted. Sarah sees and hears ghosts, for her it is a normal and mostly ignored part of her daily life. She doesn t like to talk about it. Only a few close friends know. Sarah hates publicity and won t hold séances, her ability is too private and personal ...but the police know and so do the spirits who seek her help and some ghosts, especially children, are very hard to ignore. All Sarah wants to do is to live quietly with her daughter Clarrie. However, a quiet life is difficult to achieve when the recently dead keep intruding. Worse, her daughter may also be psychic and without realising it, is walking into danger ...so a missing woman and child may soon be the least of all their worries! In whatever order you read her books, Mai Griffin's Deadly Grey series of supernatural thrillers will grip you but, for the record, this is the first of the series.

A great read

I have known Mai Griffin as a painter and was introduced to her first book "Deadly Shades of Grey" only recently. I soon found myself engrossed in the world of art and the paranormal as Sarah Grey helps the police to find a missing child. Mai's writing style captivates and draws you in to the characters and the plot, gaining momentum as the story unfolds. I found it hard to put the book down and as soon as I had finished, was ordering the next book.

    Great Read

What a great read this book is. It twists and turns with all sorts of sub plots bringing in the use of having 'the sight'. In fact difficult to put down. I can't wait to read the next one.
