Meet The Author

"Following family tradition, he was originally destined to be an engineer in the shipyards of the River Clyde in Scotland. A chance meeting on a rain filled winter´s evening with an old school friend changed the direction of his life forever. He defied his father; quit his `secure´ engineering apprenticeship to train to become a Chef. U P Publications was pleased to help him launch his career as an author and wish him every success with his later books. Here you will find his First book in English and Spanish."

What are the elements that dictate chance? Is there room for conjecture about what superior force directs our fate? Could there be some unknown element, among the mysterious fog that envelops the mountains of Scotland, that determines the fate of these three boys?

Set in the year 1985. One year after the attack on the Grand Hotel in Brighton, which almost destroyed the entire Margaret Thatcher cabinet. The IRA again enjoys another opportunity to achieve an unprecedented atrocity. The Cold War is still in its heyday. NATO, is about to kick off all of Europe, a crucial war manoeuvres, against the Soviet bloc. The submarine HMS Resolution, moored in the base Faslane, (Scotland) equipped with the Polaris system, with Ballistic Missiles, has a key role in the simulation of war games.

The convergence and the crossing of the roads in the lives of three young people, born on the same day, but thousands of kilometres away, provides the conduit, so that ETA and IRA together, cause a blood bath, with global implications for the peace. Malevolent Karma, is a story of love, manipulation and betrayal, directed by cynical and unscrupulous adults, about the innocence and naivety of the three young people.
